Liverpool star Mohamed Salah is reportedly considering a move to Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) next summer, sparking speculation about his future with the Reds.
The Egyptian winger, who has been a crucial part of Liverpool’s success, is said to be in talks with the Ligue 1 champions.
Salah’s current deal at Liverpool runs until the summer of 2025. However, there’s no sign of a contract extension on the horizon.

This has raised eyebrows, especially as Salah remains one of the Premier League’s most consistent performers. Just recently, he scored his 13th goal of the season in Liverpool’s impressive 2-0 victory over Manchester City.
Reports from the French outlet L’Équipe claim Salah has “opened the door” to a potential move to Paris. PSG, in turn, are eager to bring him on board.
With Kylian Mbappe leaving for Real Madrid on a free transfer, the French giants are looking to fill the void left by their former superstar.
The reality of Mohamed Salah to PSG rumour?
PSG’s interest in Salah isn’t new. But with Liverpool yet to secure their talisman’s long-term future, the timing seems ideal for the French club.
After missing out on other wingers like Jadon Sancho and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, PSG are reportedly still looking for a marquee signing. Salah, with his track record, could be the perfect fit.
If Liverpool fail to extend Salah’s contract before January, the 31-year-old would be eligible to hold pre-contract talks with foreign clubs. This means a free transfer to PSG could be on the cards.
Yet, the situation isn’t without controversy. Some sources suggest Salah might be using PSG’s interest to pressure Liverpool into offering him a better deal. On the other hand, PSG have denied being part of any negotiation tactic, further fuelling the mystery.
Meanwhile, Tanzi, one of France’s most respected journalists, suggests that Mo’s actions strongly indicate his desire to stay.
It remains to be seen whether Salah will stay loyal to Liverpool or seek a fresh start in Paris. For now, the ball is in Liverpool’s court as fans anxiously await updates on their beloved star’s future.
