Arne Slot has explained how he feels Mohamed Salah can win the Ballon d’Or award this year.
The Liverpool manager shared his insights into what could increase the Egyptian’s chances of claiming the prize.
Salah is having a stellar season even by his standards, and this has seen him put forward by many as one of the favorites to claim the award for the best football player in the world. Salah has hit the back of the net 38 times this season and provided 21 assists to go with that.
Mo Salah, to the surprise of many, has never finished in the top 3 of the Ballon d’Or rankings, but with the season he is having, it appears like that feat is expected to change this year but there is still some work to be done.

Arne Slot’s tips for Mo Salah Ballon d’Or chances
Arne Slot has given tips to Mo Salah to increase his chances of winning the Ballon d’Or. According to the Liverpool manager, Salah will have greater odds of claiming the prize if the Reds can lay claim to multiple trophies this season.
Liverpool currently sit 11 points clear at the top of the Premier League table, and they also await the final of the Carabao Cup against Newcastle at Wembley Stadium next month.
The Reds also face PSG in the Round of 16 of the UEFA Champions League, after finishing at the top of the league phase standings.
Claiming trophies with one’s team has always improved player’s chances of winning individual trophies and Arne Slot has stressed that fact.
According to thisisanfield, Slot said,
“It’s a good thing that Mo is in the discussion, because it means he does well and it means we are doing well. For him to stay in that discussion he should bring in the same performances as he’s done for seven or eight months now.”
The manager added saying,
“I think in general, someone who wins the Ballon d’Or needs to win something as well, so it’s a great challenge that is in front of us but also in front of him.”
Liverpool are favorites to win the Premier League this season and remain in the running for the UEFA Champions League title, as well as the Carabao Cup.
If Mohamed Salah is to have real chances of lifting the Ballon d’Or later this year, then he and his teammates are going to need to keep up their fine form this season and add silverware on top of that.
