Fabrizio Romano provides an update as Liverpool moves toward signing Milos Kerkez in the summer transfer window.
Romano revealed that top target Milos Kerkez is set to become a Liverpool player very soon. The Hungarian left-back is reportedly on the verge of joining the Reds, as per multiple sources.
Talks between Liverpool and Bournemouth have been ongoing since last week. The deal could be completed in the upcoming days, with Kerkez only wanting to join Liverpool.
This is shaping up to be one of the biggest transfer windows for the Merseyside club. They’ve already signed Bayer Leverkusen duo Jeremie Frimpong and Florian Wirtz.
The German midfielder is one of the club’s most expensive signings, costing nearly €150 million. They’re not planning to stop there, with Kerkez likely to cost around €45 million as well.
Liverpool have long-term plans in mind, and Kerkez is expected to replace Andy Robertson in the future. Multiple reports now suggest that Robertson could consider leaving Anfield this summer as top Spanish clubs show interest.

Robertson’s future is uncertain following the arrival of Milos Kerkez
According to the latest updates from Fabrizio Romano, Atletico Madrid have identified Robertson as their top priority for the left-back role. The player is also reportedly keen on joining the Spanish club.
Liverpool may be open to selling him since they are close to signing his replacement. Robertson might also lose his starting spot on the team.
However, it’s still early, and no official talks have taken place between the clubs. But the Merseyside club will surely decide Robertson’s future in the coming days.
