Luis Diaz is now set to complete his Bayern move as the deal has been sealed, as per reports.
The Colombian joined the club back in the January transfer window of 2022 from FC Porto. The club paid nearly £37.5m to the Portuguese side as the initial transfer fee.
Last season, Diaz delivered an outstanding performance. Arne Slot successfully unlocked the 28-year-old’s versatility, using him in a centre-forward role as well.
He scored 17 goals for the Reds last season and played a key role in their Premier League triumph. Looking at his numbers, Arne Slot didn’t want to let him go this summer — but Díaz might have had other plans as he decided to leave.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Bayern Munich have now successfully sealed the deal to sign Diaz from Liverpool. The deal is reportedly worth €75m.
With the sale of the left-winger, the Reds might accelerate their next move, as per reports.

Despite signing Hugo Ekitike just a few days ago, Liverpool still wants to bring in Alexander Isak, according to multiple sources. On the other hand, the Swedish striker has also informed Newcastle United about his intention to leave the club this summer.
Many reports claim that Isak’s price tag could go up to nearly £130m. After receiving €75m from the Diaz deal, it might now help the club to push forward for the Newcastle forward.
