Liverpool midfielder Tyler Morton is drawing interest from clubs across five countries, with a permanent move away from Anfield increasingly likely this summer.

A product of Liverpool’s academy, Tyler Morton has quietly built a strong case for first-team football.

The 22-year-old midfielder was part of the England squad that won the U-21 Euro 2025, capping off the tournament with composed performances at the heart of midfield.

His growing reputation reflects both technical ability and tactical awareness — traits that have turned heads across Europe.

Morton has made 14 senior appearances for Liverpool, including outings in the Champions League and Premier League.

He also spent time on loan at Blackburn Rovers and Hull City, gaining valuable experience in the Championship.

Now entering a crucial phase of his career, Morton is determined to find a club where he can play regularly.

Both his camp and Liverpool are aligned on the idea that a permanent move makes sense this summer.

With interest mounting across Europe, the young midfielder appears ready to take the next step — even if it means leaving Merseyside behind.

Tyler Morton’s performances haven’t gone unnoticed, with Liverpool receiving enquiries from clubs across five different countries this summer.

Lyon have contacted Liverpool over the signing of Tyler Morton, according to The Times’ Paul Joyce.

The French club is the latest to express interest in the 22-year-old, joining a growing list of suitors that includes SC Braga (Portugal), Ajax (Netherlands), Club Brugge (Belgium), and West Ham United (England).

Earlier, clubs like Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig saw their loan proposals rejected, with Liverpool only open to a permanent deal.

Morton, meanwhile, has made it clear he’s open to moving abroad for regular minutes.

Liverpool value Morton at £20 million and have already turned down a £10 million+ offer from Middlesbrough in February.

Morton is expected to play in Liverpool’s friendly against Yokohama F. Marinos, which could be one of his final appearances for the club.
