The Premier League’s summer transfer window opens on Friday, June 14, and closes on Friday, August 30 at 11 pm BST just like its continental counterparts in the EFL, Bundesliga, Serie A, LaLiga, and Ligue 1.
European leagues will open their transfer windows on July 1, trailing the Premier League’s start. This timeline ensures Liverpool can conduct business almost two weeks into the new campaign.
What Is The Transfer Plan Of Liverpool?
For Liverpool, this summer is expected to be bustling with activities on both incoming and outgoing fronts.
There is plenty to keep the Reds busy this summer, including key contracts for Virgil van Dijk, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Mo Salah. The current deal of these trio will expire in 2025. Securing their future and ensuring stability in the squad will be essential for Liverpool.
On the departure side, there will be plenty of interest for the Reds’ backup goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher. Caoimhin Kelleher has to make a decision: Stay as Alisson’s understudy or seek a primary role elsewhere.

On the incoming side, Liverpool are eyeing a new wide player and centre-back reinforcements. Rumoured targets include Leeds winger Crysencio Summerville, PSV’s Johan Bakayoko, and West Ham’s Mohammed Kudus.
