Former Liverpool star Jermaine Pennant has urged Liverpool to consider the possibility of capturing Bayern Munich’s star winger Leroy Sane, to replace Mo Salah.

Pennant praised Sane’s experience, pace, and ability to cut in on either foot, highlighting his impressive performances against Arsenal.

Sane, who made 25 starts for Bayern Munich last Bundesliga season, is currently facing competiton for the playing XI under his new boss Vincent Kompany, makes him an easy option for the Reds.

Olmo Off Liverpool Exploring Other Transfer Targets

Liverpool have suffered a huge blow in their hunt for the Spanish star in the Euro 2024 Dani Olmo, who has reportedly gave green signal to La Liga giants Barcelona.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Barcelona has reached an agreement with Olmo to return to the club on a contract until 2030, with a bid worth £52.5 million submitted to RB Leipzig.

Despite this setback, Liverpool continues to explore for other targets which includes Morten Frendrup, who expressed his admiration for the Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard recently, increasing the odds of his arrival to Anfield.
