Bobby Clark is on the verge of leaving Liverpool for a potential move to RB Salzburg to reunite with Pep Lijnders.

Despite having a relatively quieter transfer window in the month of July, the Reds have revived back in business with fresh and exciting transfer rumours.

Several players have been linked with transfer ins to Anfield and the name that tops the charts is Martin Zubimendi.

However, quite surprisingly, the recent transfer out of Fabio Carvalho has raised a few eyebrows around LFC.

Now the latest development regarding another Merseyside youngster can cause a ruckus amongst the Kopites.

Bobby Clark To Join RB Salzburg

Liverpool are ‘closer’ to parting ways with young midfielder Clark in a permanent transfer to the Austrian side RB Salzburg.

According to a report by DaveOCKOP, Salzburg submitted a £6m bid last week for the 19-year-old despite their initial loan interest.

Although the Austrian side is now in the lead to sign Clark, several Championship clubs such as Bristol City, Portsmouth, Norwich and Scottish side Rangers were also in the mix to sign him.

The England U-20 international will be joining former Liverpool assistant manager Pep Lijnders, current RB Salzburg manager and his assistant Vitor Matos, another ex-LFC staff, who are ‘extremely keen’ to reunite with Clark.

The youngster must have been tempted by the probable opportunity of playing in the Champions League.

Even though the midfielder has a minor stress issue in his back, it will not affect any potential medical examination if that takes place for the transfer procedure.

Bobby Clark was on the rise from being a young prodigy to a trustable name on the teamsheet under Jurgen Klopp.

However, new Liverpool head coach Arne Slot has some other plans as he is seen allowing several young players to seek a career move.

How this transfer saga will pan out can only be known when the right time comes.
