Liverpool fans might want to keep an eye on the wings — literally.

With Bayern Munich showing growing interest in Luis Diaz, the Reds are preparing for life without the Colombian star.

Diaz has been a regular under both Jurgen Klopp and now Arne Slot, but if Bayern return with a stronger offer, Liverpool knows what comes next.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, if Diaz moves, the club will go straight for a new winger.

No midfield reshuffle. No false-nine experiments. Just a clear plan: replace the winger with another winger. That’s the kind of direct play fans love to see — on and off the pitch.

Liverpool are no stranger to summer drama, and this window has been packed. They’ve already brought in Florian Wirtz, Hugo Ekitike, and a few others.

But they’ve also seen names like Alexander-Arnold and Kelleher head for the exit. If Diaz joins that list, Liverpool’s focus shifts fast.

Who could Liverpool sign as Luis Diaz replacement?

The biggest name circling the rumour mill? Anthony Gordon.

Newcastle’s speedy winger has been linked heavily with a move to Anfield — again. The 24-year-old is a Liverpool fan through and through, and according to journalist Graeme Bailey (via TBR), he’d walk to play for the Reds. Literally.

Bailey said: “Gordon would walk to Liverpool — it’s his hometown club. He loves them. He wants to play for them.”

That said, Real Madrid’s Rodrygo is also in the frame. He brings versatility and flair, but according to Fabrizio Romano, the Brazilian hasn’t decided his future yet.

He’s still on vacation, while his agents talk with Madrid. So for now, it’s all about waiting — something Liverpool fans aren’t exactly famous for.

Arne Slot may prefer Gordon for now. Familiar with the league, rapid on the counter, and emotionally tied to the club, Gordon ticks the boxes.

If Diaz goes, the winger watching at Anfield could get very real, very fast.
