Liverpool Transfer News: Loan Move for Bajcetic

Liverpool are considering loaning out Stefan Bajcetic before the transfer window closes, even though they have not yet secured a new No. 6.

After a uncharacteristically quiet summer, the news that Martin Zubimendi will not join the Reds from Real Sociedad, has disappointed the Liverpool faithful immensely. Further, it seems unlikely that Liverpool will look for another midfield option before the August 30 deadline.

This makes the news that the club is “prepared to sanction” a loan move for Bajcetic, according to The Athletic’s James Pearce, all the more surprising. Bajcetic played 86 minutes across four pre-season games, appears to be out of favor with new boss Arne Slot.

While no clubs have been linked with the young Spaniard yet, it is expected that Liverpool would only consider offers from top-tier leagues where he can gain valuable experience.

After a long injury setback, Bajcetic might go for a loan move to regain his sharpness. Once a standout under Klopp, the young midfielder now needs consistent playing time to rediscover his form.

But fear not — there is no indication that Slot is writing him off. In fact, he is likely to rejoin Liverpool’s first team squad once his loan stint wraps up.

Not only Bajcetic, Liverpool Ready to Depart with More!

Liverpool are preparing to loan out more young talents as the transfer window comes to an end. Kaide Gordon is likely to spend the season at Swansea. While Ben Doak might either be loaned out or sold, with Pearce confirming interest in the winger.

Meanwhile, QPR are reportedly leading the chase for left-back Owen Beck. And also, several League One clubs are keen on versatile midfielder Luca Stephenson.

On Monday, the Reds received a third offer from Salzburg for Bobby Clark, with the Times reporting the bid is close to Liverpool’s £10 million valuation. The 19-year-old could soon be on his way out.

Other academy players, including James McConnell, Tyler Morton, Marcelo Pitaluga, Harvey Davies, Rhys Williams, Jakub Ojrzynski, Lee Jonas, Calum Scanlon, Dominic Corness, James Balagizi, Tom Hill, and Oakley Cannonier, might also depart as Liverpool look to reshape their youth ranks.
