Liverpool Striker Darwin Nunez Deletes All Posts And Breaks Silence On Shocking Criticism – You Won’t Believe His Response

The Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez, who cost Liverpool £85 million in the previous summer transfer window, has addressed his social media criticisms and put his family above everything else.

Darwin Nunez: The Doubtful Liverpool Striker

Liverpool’s £85 million striker, Darwin Nunez has tasted both triumphs and hurdles since his arrival from SL Benfica in the summer transfer window of 2022.

With 33 goals and 17 assists in 93 appearances, Nunez has shown his potential to become one of the best strikers in Europe but struggles with consistency and missed opportunities.

Recently speculation about the striker’s future at Liverpool surged when he deleted all Liverpool-related content from his Instagram after a victory over the Premier League side Tottenham Hotspur.

Family Above Everything

In an interview, he confessed about dealing with criticism and negativity from the social media and fans of the opponent clubs. The Liverpool striker said,

“Before, I did look them a lot and it affected me. Whoever says that those negative comments do not affect them is lying, those negative comments that are directed towards you will always affect you.

They tell me everything, but I ignore those comments because they are of no use to me. I never look at the negative comments on social media, at least now I’m not looking at anything, not even the good stuff. If a game goes badly for me, I rely on my family .

Despite getting the stick from all around on social the Liverpool star striker held his chin up and this made Liverpool fans very delighted.

A New Era At Anfield

The Uruguayan striker, Darwin Nunez, has also been the target of jeers from the opposition fans, who often compare him unfavourably to the former Liverpool striker Andy Carroll.

Nunez had an amazingly memorable moment against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League where he scored a 99th-minute winner to capture a 1-0 victory for Liverpool.

Fans around Anfield are hoping that Darwin Nunez will stay with Liverpool next season and hope to bounce back to his very best under their new manager Arne Slot.
