Liverpool are signing a new Mexican forward with plans of loaning him out before he joins the Reds, Cesar Huerta a real gem from Mexico.

Following the purchases of Giorgi Mamardashvili and Federico Chiesa earlier this summer Liverpool are about to add another exciting talent to their roster with the signing of Mexican forward Cesar Huerta from Pumas.

Liverpool have taken notice of Huerta despite his relative unknown status in Europe due to his stellar play in Mexico last season where he finished with 12 goals and 9 assists in 41 games.

Huerta is seen as a valuable addition by the club’s scouting network which is known for unearthing hidden gems even though he will need some time to adjust to the demands of English football.

In order to help with this transition Liverpool intend to sign Huerta and then loan him to a Championship team right away.

This will give him time to get used to playing in England before he joins the Reds squad in the summer of 2025.

Liverpool’s approach with Huerta highlights their long-term goals by emphasizing patient development over short-term results.

The Reds are investing sensibly in a player they think can make a big impact going forward by securing the forward for a sweet release clause of about £4. 2 million.

A key component of this strategy is the loan move which gives Huerta the chance to practice without having to immediately perform at the best level.

Although adjusting to Premier League football may not come easily at first Liverpool’s strategy shows their belief in his ability to develop into a vital member of the team.
