Liverpool’s Secret Transfer Move Revealed: £38m Bid Imminent For Star Player!

Liverpool FC are quietly preparing to boost their squad this summer, with reported interest in Atalanta’s talented midfielder, Ederson.

Fabrizio Romano revealed Liverpool’s keen eye on the Brazilian midfielder, but formal bids are yet to fly across to Atalanta’s doorstep.

The Merseyside club is entering a new era with the new manager Arne Slot. Under his leadership, Liverpool are now targeting their critical areas for improvement.

With Joel Matip’s departure, a new centre-back is a priority now. The club is also planning to strengthen their forward and midfield options alongside defence.

Now, according to Romano, while midfield signings are lower on Liverpool’s bucket list, Liverpool are committed to enhancing their overall squad depth.

Slot is blessed with quite a number of midfielders left over from the Jurgen Klopp era. He may also bring Tyler Morton into the first team.

Although there were rumours of Endo leaving Liverpool, now it seems he is set to stay put. Nevertheless, some fresh legs will not be bad for Liverpool. Romano explains,

“For Ederson it’s a quiet situation.

The interest of Liverpool is true.

When we had rumours from Liverpool it’s true that they appreciate the player, it’s true that people from Liverpool were scouting Ederson during the fantastic season he had.

But at the moment Atalanta have not received any proposal from Liverpool.”

Ederson On The Radar Of Liverpool

Because of the ongoing international tournaments, we have not seen any movements from Liverpool. But there talks that the Reds had entered into discussions with Ederson’s agents.

Now Euro 2024 has already entered into the knockout rounds. Ederson himself is away with Brazil at the Copa America. Until those two competitions end, it feels as if things will continue to remain quiet.

Ederson is not getting much game time at Copa America. He kept on warming the bench as Brazil ended with a goalless draw against Costa Rica on Tuesday.

But Ederson’s less game time has not reduced Liverpool’s interest in him. There are also rumours flying that a £38 m bid is being ready for Ederson at Anfield.

As of now, they are happy to wait for things to conclude at the USA first. Although, the transfer seems unlikely, Liverpool clearly like something about the Brazilian midfielder.
