Liverpool may be lining up a major summer swoop, and the spotlight is firmly on Real Madrid’s Rodrygo.
The Reds are now eyeing the Brazilian forward as a possible signing, with his agent Pini Zahavi working on the move (via Diario AS).
This possible deal comes while Luis Diaz’s future remains unclear. Diaz is attracting interest from big clubs including Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and teams in Saudi Arabia.
Though the Colombian insists he’s “very calm where I am,” talks over a new deal have yet to move forward — and Liverpool have already reportedly rejected a bid from Bayern Munich worth £58.6 million.
That opens the door to something new — and Rodrygo might just be the man to light up Anfield next.

How much Liverpool could pay for Rodrygo?
Rodrygo won’t come at a discount. Real Madrid are reportedly ready to sell the 24-year-old, but only for the right price. Spanish media suggest the La Liga champions want around €100 million (£86 million), though some believe they might settle for slightly less if the market doesn’t offer more.
Liverpool aren’t alone in the chase. Arsenal are also keeping an eye on the forward, while Bayern could enter the race if they fail to land Diaz. But with Arne Slot keen to build a more fluid front line, Rodrygo’s pace and ability to play on both wings make him a strong fit.
He’s no stranger to big games either. With 270 appearances for Real Madrid, Rodrygo has bagged 68 goals and won three La Liga titles and two Champions League trophies. Not bad for a player who still hasn’t hit his peak.
While Madrid coach Xabi Alonso downplayed Rodrygo’s recent benching at the Club World Cup, saying, “These are match decisions,” it’s clear something is shifting in Madrid’s plans.
If Liverpool can land Rodrygo, it might just be a classic transfer tale — out with Diaz, in with the new samba style.
