Liverpool aren’t just winning trophies – they’re cashing in big time. After a sensational Premier League title-winning campaign, the Reds have reportedly pocketed a jaw-dropping £24.9 million purely from television appearances.

That’s right – according to The Times, Liverpool featured in 30 live broadcasts last season, more than any other club, raking in the most from the Premier League’s facility fee system.

Every live game means extra cash, and Liverpool were the broadcasters’ darlings – no surprise, considering they didn’t just win the league, they owned it. And the cash flow is only set to explode further.

The 2025/26 season will see a seismic shift in the Premier League’s broadcasting setup. A new TV deal kicks off in August, delivering 70 more live games per season in the UK.

Almost every single top-flight match will be televised – bar the traditional Saturday 3 pm slot. Translation? Even more Liverpool games on air. Even more money in the bank.

Liverpool print money, break viewership records

The Reds begin their title defence at home to Bournemouth on Friday, August 15 – and yes, it’s already confirmed to be live on Sky Sports. That’ll be the first of many money-spinning appearances this season.

Globally, Liverpool are the team to watch. According to Nielsen data, they amassed a colossal 471 million cumulative audience across their 38 Premier League matches – the most-watched club in the world.

And that global interest is only growing. In China, Liverpool viewership rocketed by a staggering 373%, while US numbers jumped 42%. The December 2023 clash against Arsenal drew a record-breaking 2.28 million live viewers in the United States alone.

And it’s not just traditional viewership where the Reds dominate – they’re smashing it on social media too.

Blinkfire Analytics confirmed that Liverpool clocked 1.7 billion social media engagements during their 2024/25 campaign – a 10% rise from the previous season and 45% more than any other Premier League club.

With 13.3 billion video views across all platforms, Liverpool remain the undisputed kings of digital presence.

They’re winning on the pitch. They’re winning off it. And with the new broadcasting era incoming, the Liverpool money train is only just picking up speed.
