Liverpool board and their manager, Arne Slot, are expecting a huge deadpan in the squad as some of the first team players could leave the club.

Players like Mohamed Salah, Virgil Van Dijk, and Trent Alexander might leave the club upon the expiry of their contracts.

But apart from that, some of the Liverpool forwards could also leave the club in the summer. Players such as Luis Diaz, Darwin Nunez, Diogo Jota, and Federico Chiesa could leave the Reds in the summer.

Liverpool boss Arne Slot has to rebuild the squad if this many players leave the club. This will also open the door for the Reds to spend huge and bring new players.

The Merseyside are looking for new forwards to sign in the summer, as that is the area that the club needs to fill with new players.

The Reds already showed their interest in Newcastle number nine Alexander Isak. However, another Premier League forward that the club has recently associated with. And that player is Marcus Rashford.

Is Marcus Rashford the perfect player for Liverpool

But the question is whether Liverpool want to sign the England international in the summer or not. Various reasons might stop the Reds from signing the striker from Manchester United.

The most important reason is the wage of Marcus Rashford. He used to get £325,000 per week at Manchester United. And his current club, Aston Villa, are giving him a percentage for that wage bracket.

So this high wage is a big issue for the Arne Slot side. After that, the price tag that Manchester United could ask for Marcus Rashford if Liverpool want to sign him.

According to the news published by Anfield Watch, Manchester United could ask for a transfer fee of £60m for Rashford if Liverpool want to sign him.

That is a big price for Liverpool, because of the age of the Aston Villa forward and his performance. He is doing well now in his career with his new club Aston Villa.

However, sometime the player was unable to find his best form during his career in the past. So, this is another big concern over the signing of Marcus Rashford.

It is still not clear whether the Reds will sign the forward in the summer or not. However, these are some of the reasons that are stopping Liverpool from signing Rashford.
