Liverpool vs. Leicester City

Liverpool will travel to the King Power Stadium to face Leicester City after they meet with West Ham United this weekend.

While the Reds lost their last Premier League games against Fulham by 3-2, Arne Slot’s men are very confident of winning both the matches against West Ham United and Leicester City.

Most importantly, Leicester City’s performance in the Premier League since the start of this new year is so bad. Leicester City are on the verge of relegation from the Premier League within weeks.

And their recent performance gives fuel to that possibility. After losing to Newcastle United last week by 3-0, the Foxes have set a worst-ever record in the Premier League.

What is the new record made by Leicester City

Under the new manager Ruud van Nistelrooy, Leicester City witnessed their 16th defeat in the last 20 games.

Having only been appointed as the head coach for the Foxes in the mid-season, Ruud Van Nistelrooy found it difficult to keep up good performance.

Recently, with their 3-0 defeat to Newcastle, Leicester City became the first side to ever lose eight consecutive matches in the Premier League without scoring a single goal.

The last time the Foxes scored a goal in a Premier League fixture was back on January 26 in their 2-1 win over Tottenham.

And Leicester City’s last scored goal at home was back on December 8, in a 2-2 comeback draw with Brighton. The club has struggled to score goals for the last four months and so.

Now, Ruud Van Nistelrooy will host Liverpool on April 20 in the King Power Stadium. The Reds are trying to win the Premier League title as soon as possible.

And the performance of Leicester City might help Liverpool. Liverpool have scored more away goals than any other side in the league this season.

Also, the Reds have picked up by far the most points per game in this season’s Premier League.
