Liverpool are reportedly willing to offer youngster Ben Doak in a deal to sign Marc Guehi from Crystal Palace this summer.
Guehi has been on Liverpool’s radar since last week. The English defender played a key role in leading Crystal Palace to their FA Cup win over Manchester City last season. His consistency was also noticeable as he made 34 appearances in the Premier League.
Liverpool are keen on signing a new defender this summer after selling Jarell Quansah to Bayer Leverkusen a few days ago. Although the Reds have a buy-back clause for Quansah, Arne Slot reportedly wants to bring in someone this window.
Another concern is Ibrahima Konate’s contract situation. The French defender’s current deal at Anfield expires in 2026, and no new extension has been offered yet. Reports suggest Konate might consider leaving the club when his contract ends.
Considering the current scenario, Slot may be eyeing a backup for the defensive line, and Guehi appears to be their primary target.

What Liverpool are offering for Marc Guehi
According to The Sun, Liverpool plans to include Ben Doak in the deal to sign Guehi. Palace are reportedly interested in the young winger.
Doak had a strong season in the Championship on loan at Middlesbrough, scoring 3 goals and providing 7 assists.
According to journalist Ben Jacobs, Liverpool currently has no intention of paying the £45-£50m asking price for the defender.
Liverpool reportedly values him nearly £25 million lower than this. This evaluation could lead to further negotiations between the involved clubs.
