Current Premier League table topper Liverpool are planning to sign a young star defender from Premier League side Bournemouth. The Reds are very much interested in signing the 19-year-old Spanish defender Dean Huijsen. However, Liverpool are not the only one that wants to sign him.
Dean Huijsen is on the news more and more as the summer transfer window is approaching.
His brilliant performance since joining Bournemouth from Juventus has caught the attention of big Premier League sides.
Liverpool are one of them. However, apart from Liverpool, clubs like Arsenal, Tottenham, Chelsea, and Newcastle are very much interested in signing this 19-year-old.

Will Liverpool be able to sign Dean Huijsen in the summer?
Dean Huijsen joined Premier League side Bournemouth from Juventus this season following a loan spell with AS Roma last season.
Bournemouth has done a real steal on the signing of Huijsen, after signing him on a transfer fee of only €15.2 million. Now, the club has set a release clause of £50M on Huijsen.
Dean Huijsen is also having a brilliant season for Bournemouth as the 19-year-old made 29 appearances for the club this season across all competitions.
He is having the best season so far in his career. During his time at Bournemouth till now, he has also scored two goals and provided one assist this season.
Apart from Premier League sides, Spanish giant Real Madrid also showed their interest in signing Dean Huijsen. On this, the 19-year-old said (in an interview with El Chiringuito TV).
“I don’t know, we’ll see. It’s a big team. Every player wants to play in the maximum [level] possible.”
“I have a contract until 2030, [but] I do have a [release] clause,”
It will be very interesting to see what the future holds for Dean Huijsen.
The Spanish defender has his contract with the club till 2030 and also a release clause of £50m. So, any club that wants to sign him needs to pay that much money to get him.
