Liverpool forward Federico Chiesa may be packing his bags again, and this time it’s not for another rehab session.
The Italian winger, who joined Liverpool in a low-key deal from Juventus last summer, could be on the move after a tough debut season at Anfield.
Chiesa has struggled to settle in Merseyside. Injuries and limited game time meant he only scraped together 13 appearances across all competitions.
His Premier League medal came by the skin of his shin pads — he hit the five-match mark just in time. But make no mistake, this was not the fairy tale comeback fans had hoped for.
According to reports from Italy (via Calciomercato), his agent Fali Ramadani will soon visit Liverpool to discuss what’s next.
And the suitors aren’t wasting time. Both Napoli and AC Milan are ready to roll out the welcome mat for the 27-year-old.
Milan’s transfer expert Geoffrey Moncada is especially keen, hoping to revive Chiesa’s form back on home soil.
The catch? Chiesa earns around €7 million a year, which is a steep climb for Serie A clubs already tightening their belts.
Napoli might manage the numbers, but even they don’t hand out paychecks like free kicks.

Should Liverpool let Federico Chiesa go this summer?
It’s a tricky call. On one hand, Chiesa clearly hasn’t clicked with Arne Slot’s system. The chemistry just wasn’t there — like trying to play a backheel with a brick.
On the other hand, selling him after one season feels like giving up on a player who still has gas in the tank.
Chiesa wants to play regular football again. He wants to be important, not just another name on the bench.
And with competition fierce at Liverpool, a move might be best for both sides. That said, Liverpool won’t want to lose value on a player who arrived with high hopes and a fanbase already singing his name (in Italian, of course).
