Liverpool haven’t spent a single penny in the January transfer window as the club believed that they had enough assets.
However, now the Reds are eager to sign 24-year-old Dutch wing-back Jeremie Frimpong from Bayern Leverkusen. Liverpool are keen to sign Jeremie Frimpong in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Trent Alexandar Arnold’s contract with Liverpool will finish at the end of this season. The England right-back is expected to leave the club as there are no talks about his contract renewal.
Spanish giants Real Madrid are targeting Arnold till the last summer transfer window. There are huge possibility that Trent end up signing for Real Madrid.

Liverpool are keen to sign Jeremie Frimpong from Bayer Leverkusen
Liverpool needs someone who could replace Trent Alexander Arnold. So, they are targeting Jeremy Fringfong of Bayer Leverkusen for the right-back position. As per multiple reports, Frimpong is also interested in joining Liverpool.
According to Givemesport, the Dutch youngster Jeremie Frimpong could cost around €40m (£33.1m). Bayer Leverkusen could demand more in the summer according to his performance in the second half of this season. So, Liverpool have to pay close to 50m if they want to sign this 24-year-old.
Jeremie Frimpong had a brilliant last season with Bayer Leverkusen. The Dutch wing-back helped a lot for the German side to win the title and also finish the season unbeaten.
Last season Frimfong made 47 appearances for the club, scored 14 goals, and provided 10 assists.
This season till now the 24-year-old made 34 appearances for Bayer Leverkusen and had 11 goal contributions. One more than Arnold who had 10 goal contributions in after 34 games this season.
Not just Liverpool are trying to sign him, but other big European giants are also interested in him. Real Madrid could also go for Frimpong if they fail to get Trent Alexander Arnold.
