The European Golden Boot winner for the 2024/25 season, Kylian Mbappe, shared his thoughts on Liverpool’s transfer target.

Liverpool have multiple targets for this summer after completing the signing of Dutch right-back Jeremie Frimpong to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold. The club also announced their second signing, Hungarian goalkeeper Armin Pecsi, who joined from Puskas Academia.

The Merseyside club are looking to bring in another full-back, with Milos Kerkez being their top choice for the left-back role. Talks are going strong between Liverpool and Bournemouth, and the transfer could be sealed soon, as per reports via Fabrizio Romano.

Florian Wirtz remains the top target for the Reds. Liverpool have identified him as their top summer target and is prepared to spend a record-breaking fee of over €100 million for the German midfielder. The transfer saga continues as both clubs negotiate a final agreement, according to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano.

Meanwhile, Kylian Mbappe recently revealed his thoughts about the 22-year-old midfielder.

What Kylian Mbappe said about Florian Wirtz and his potential move to Liverpool

The Real Madrid forward said, “He is a top talent and I think Germany can consider itself lucky to have a player like him.”

Mbappe shared his views on Wirtz ahead of the Germany vs France third-place match in the UEFA Nations League on Sunday — showing how highly he rates the midfielder.

He also added, “I like him and I enjoy watching him play. It looks like he’ll move this summer. Then we’ll see how things go for him and if he can still improve. But he’s a really good player.”
