Reports have claimed that 22-year-old Brazilian winger Luiz Henrique is on Klopp’s radar, and Liverpool want to sign him in the summer transfer window.
As per Fichajes, the Brazilian is linked to Liverpool along with Aston Villa. Luiz Henrique did quite well for Real Betis this past season, contributing to 10 goals across all competitions.
Meanwhile, a club with Liverpool’s resources have the financial muscle to convince Real Betis as well. The 22-year-old Brazilian winger is still quite young and is likely to improve with coaching and experience.
Working with a world-class manager like Klopp will only help him improve further and fulfill his tremendous potential.
Henrique will add pace, flair, and goals in the Liverpool attack. The Reds have often had to field makeshift players in the wide areas because of the lack of depth.
Signing the 22-year-old Brazilian will allow Klopp to work with more specialist options.
Luis Diaz and Mohamed Salah are currently the only natural wingers at the club. And Klopp should look to add more depth to the current squad.
Liverpool interested in signing Henrique this summer?
The Reds have signed two creative midfielders and are looking to add depth at other positions as well. One of the positions is the defence. However, Klopp wouldn’t mind an exciting prospect like Henrique.
There have been talks of Federico Chiesa but there has been no progress in the Italian’s case. Apart from that a recent report also claimed that the Merseysiders are no more interested in signing the Juventus star this summer.
There is no doubt that the Brazilian winger has the ability to succeed in the Premier League. Moreover, he could be a solid long-term investment for the Reds.
Also, playing alongside someone like Mo Salah would be a huge benefit as the Egyptian is one of the best in business. The youngster would only benefit from it and Liverpool would reap the rewards.
It will be interesting to see if Liverpool decides to come forward with an official proposal to sign the 22-year-old in the next few days.
