Vinny O’Connor shares something about Michael Edwards
If there’s one person who is working hard day and night after Arne Slot at Liverpool, he is none other than the CEO of Football. Well, Richard Hughes is still doing everything he can to improve the Red squad, too.
A well-known journalist has recently shared some details he heard about Michael Edwards. The team is already improving a lot after the Merseyside Club got a new manager and a new sporting director. Amidst new faces like Mamardashvili and Chiesa marching into Anfield, the future of LFC seems good.
In the 2024-25 Premier League season, we know how late the Reds are to sign new talents. Still, the credit must go to Michael Edwards and Vinny O’Connor has heard something about the man. According to his words on Sky Sports, Edwards was there at the AXA Training Center all day.
“He (Chiesa) flew into Liverpool John Lennon airport yesterday, he did a bit of the medical off-site, and then he was here until about one in the morning. Michael Edwards was here, I’m told, as was Richard Hughes, the Liverpool Sporting Director”
As the final day approached, Edwards was there before the deadline ended. His regular presence indicates that LFC could start some movement right now. Vinny O’Connor confirms this about Michael Edwards. Liverpool can approach some new talents, to especially strengthen the midfield.
