Liverpool's squad depth 2024/25

With the recent successes that LFC had, Arne Slot has clearly shown the world what he can do with time and talent. However, we still have to look at Liverpool’s squad depth for the upcoming season.

Since the summer window is already on it’s verge of going away, Slot is probably planning to train his squad. For applying new tactics, the Reds must have proper integrity in all of its areas.

Liverpool’s Squad Depth good enough for Premier League?

As we all are aware, the 2024-25 Premier League is just a few steps away. In the middle of the pre-season success and transfer rumours, LFC does not have much time. So, the burning question remains – is Liverpool’s Squad depth competent enough for this season’s upcoming clashes?

Let’s take a look at some areas that need close monitoring now. In the Centre-back, Sepp van den Berg and Jarell Quansah must step up as key players. Virgil Van Dijk is still not clearing his long-term future in LFC. Joe Gomez and Konate are possible options, but their injury-prone nature might take away Liverpool’s Squad Depth.

Since Mohamed Salah can smash a Premier League record, but his age is creeping up. Diogo Jota and Luis Diaz has already impressed us with their goals against Sevilla. Along with them, Harvey Elliott and Cody Gakpo can assist Salah.

But, in order to look for ways to improve Liverpool’s Squad Depth, the left back needs more young and hungry souls. Kostas Tsimikas and Andy Robertson are proper options, but Slot should look out for midfield too. Wataru Endo, Alexis Mac Allister and Stefan Bajcetic are there. Will they be able to fill the void left by Fabinho? What do you think?
