Liverpool Football Club have been able to capture the last few months of the legendary German boss Jurgen Klopp at the club and it will soon be available as a documentary on an OTT platform.
After the upsetting public announcement of his departure from Anfield in January, Klopp, the former beloved Reds manager, bid an emotional farewell to the club after the last game of the season in May.
Although it has been three months, fans still have not been able to fathom the fact that the tactical genius is not in charge of the Merseyside club anymore.
The Reds have started the season well under the management of new head coach Arne Slot after a convincing pre-season.
And hopefully, they will continue this momentum going forward into the 2024-25 season.
The Jurgen Klopp-Liverpool documentary is up for sale!
LFC were able to film an eight-part series in the last few months Jurgen was at the Liverpool helm which was produced by Lorton Entertainment.
The filming started in December under the direction of award-winning filmmaker Asif Kapadia, who himself has been a lifelong Red.
He has also directed critically acclaimed documentaries like Senna, Amy and Diego Maradona.
Even though Klopp did not like the idea of detailed filming of his internal club functioning and methodologies and had warned FSG that if it were ever to happen he would leave, the German tactician changed his mind during his last leg.
This documentary is expected to generate eight-figure money for the club. Although Disney+ was in the lead in securing the documentary when the news of it broke back in January, Amazon Prime has emerged as the frontrunner now.
Fans online, however, have a mixed reaction to this news. While some fans are excited that they will be able to witness the greatness of Klopp through their screens, others are mad at the owners who have been blamed for the apparent departure of the German boss.
