Disappointment prevails in the transfer market

Romano says Liverpool bounces back after Zubimendi

Despite the setback from the Martin Zubimendi’s rejection, Liverpool are now “seriously considering” signing Valencia goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili.

According to Fabrizio Romano,

“Liverpool are seriously considering the opportunity to sign Giorgi Mamardashvili for a fee in excess of €30m for Valencia and then loan him out.”

This indicates that, Liverpool are already looking for Alisson replacement with interests coming in for Alisson and Kelleher, Reds are ready to replace them.

Concerns for the veteran goalie

This move raises the worries for the future of their veteran goalie Alisson at Anfield, if Mamardashvili joins and gets a loan move, Kelleher will remain as the No.2 goalie for now.

However, if Kelleher departs, the Georgian could serve as a backup, potentially signaling the beginning of the end for Alisson’s time at the club.

This possible transition leaves fans with mixed emotions, as the arrival of a talented goalkeeper could mean the eventual loss of one of their most crucial players.

Fans are looking for some positive moves from their club, Liverpool squad needs serious bolstering in midfield and defense.
