Harvey Elliott could be the next big name to leave Anfield this summer.
The 22-year-old midfielder is reportedly in talks with RB Leipzig, as the Bundesliga side looks to fill the space left by Xavi Simons.
Leipzig have made Elliott their top target and are already discussing personal terms, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The club is waiting to hear Elliott’s decision. A move could happen quickly if both sides agree on the price.
Elliott may not have played much under Arne Slot last season. In fact, he spent more minutes on the pitch for England’s U21s than for Liverpool.
But that hasn’t stopped top clubs from showing interest. Leipzig sees him as the ideal fit for their system — young, technical, and hungry for more game time.
Reports suggest Liverpool want around £40 million for Elliott, possibly more if they agree to remove a buy-back clause.
With Leipzig set to earn big money from selling Simons and possibly Benjamin Sesko, finances might not be an issue.

Should Liverpool keep or sell Harvey Elliott?

This is a tricky one for Liverpool. Elliott is clearly talented, and fans love his passion. But he’s no longer a teenager with time on his side. If he’s not playing regularly now, when will he?
His kiss to the Anfield crowd during pre-season looked like more than just a thank you.
It might have been goodbye. And with Florian Wirtz arriving, his path to the first team just got harder.
That said, Liverpool have always rated Elliott highly. If he does leave, they might want a buy-back clause — just in case he turns out to be another one that got away.
