Arne Slot on Trent contract situation:
“My answer would probably be a bit boring… I think it’s the same answer you’ve heard in the last five, six or seven years.”
There were reports that the Trent Alexander-Arnold contract situation will be resolved once the fullback returns from holiday and starts pre-season.
Not only Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil Van Dijk’s and Mo Salah’s contract situations are a bit uncertain. Their contracts should be considered a priority as losing them would be a huge blow.
Arne Slot in his press conference also confirmed Andy Robertson will pre-season matches due to injury. On new signings, he said,
“We are waiting for the right ones to sign.”
Slot also praised the great facilities they have in their US training camp. He added that Diogo Jota will join the team today followed by Ryan Gravenberch and Ibrahima Konate in the coming weeks.
