A certain football agent has reportedly made claims about a player joining Liverpool in the summer transfer window, as the Merseyside club seem keen on adding to their squad to improve Slot’s team.

Liverpool are expected to be active in the upcoming window, as Arne Slot, as well as the team for recruitment are aware of the positions in the pitch which they need to bolster in the transfer market.

Liverpool have been largely docile in the first two transfer windows since Slot’s arrival, and many expect major backing from the club’s owners in the summer.

This is also due to the fact that some of the Reds’ key players are in the last year of their contracts, with major exits imminent at the end of the season.

Kerkez may be joining Liverpool in the summer

Football agent Richard Henczi, has made claims that Liverpool target, Milos Kerkez has sufficient quality to join the Reds and fit in at the Merseyside club.

According to Liverpool.com, Henczi said to Anfield Watch,

“I think he is ready to go to a higher level club [than Bournemouth]. If he wants to go to Liverpool, he will go to Liverpool.”

The agent also added,

“I mean he has everything. I think he cannot be in the top five left-backs around the world if he plays at a smaller club. So it depends on his next transfer. How many minutes will he play there and how well will he play there?”

The Hungarian international has been an ever present in Andoni Iraola’s impressive side this season, and is reportedly attracting interest from many top clubs, with Manchester United and Liverpool said to be among those keeping an eye on the left-back.

Liverpool do appear to be the better option for Kerkez, but the club that will land the defender would have to fork out at least a £40m transfer fee to secure his services.

Although, playing time at Anfield may not be certain, but with the decline in Andy Robertson’s form this season and Kostas Tsimikas, 28, not being a long term option either, Kerkez could become a key player at Anfield for many years should he answer to the call of the potential Premier League champions.
