The World Cup winner, Alexis Mac Allister has joined Liverpool even though 3rd placed Man Utd were also interested in the Argentine.

It has been reported that the 24-year-old chose Liverpool over Man Utd due to the unavailability of the number 10 jersey at Old Trafford. As Marcus Rashford wears the number 10 shirt for the Red Devils, that particular shirt number isn’t vacant.

However, there is no denying that Mac Allister would love to work under Klopp. He could go on to find his best form under the German man.

The World Cup winner is now handed his ‘dream’ shirt with number 10 for the next season at Liverpool. He wore the number 10 shirt for Brighton as well but not for his national team.

Now, he has his dream football jersey at his new club.

Mac Allister to Liverpool: Here we go!

The 24-year-old Argentine has completed a move to Liverpool and the ever-reliant journalist, Fabrizio has confirmed the same.

The expected fee is rumoured somewhere to be around £45m which is a great price for a player like Mac Allister’s caliber.

The Mac Allister transfer would be shortly announced by Liverpool, maybe by the end of this week. As per SkySports, the Argentine is due for a medical at Liverpool.

Cheap as Chips

The fans are calling the signing as ‘one of the best’ pertaining to the price tag already. There is no surprise as the Argentine has been in great form for over the past year for both club and country.

With the rival clubs bidding in excess of £60m for the likes of Mount and Ugarte, this could be one of the best transfers for Liverpool.

Moreover, Mount had been linked to Liverpool but it is now reported that the Englishman is preferring a move to Man Utd. With a poor season with Chelsea, the price tag of nearly £60m seems to be a lot. However, the quality of the player cannot be denied whatsoever.

Meanwhile, the French duo of Manu Kone and Khephren Thuram have been high on Liverpool’s priority list. The two 22-year-olds have been very impressive the past season and have grabbed the attention of clubs all-over Europe.

With Klopp having signed Mac Allister, it’s now to be seen how many more players he would be bringing in this summer.
