Liverpool will be travelling to the capital, London, to lock horns with Fulham for the weekend Premier League clash.
Returning from back-to-back losses in the Champions League and the Carabao Cup that saw the Anfield giants miss their opportunity to acquire the two silverware, the Merseyside derby seemed like a threat to Arne Slot & Co.
Many even doubted that the Reds were going to lose their PL lead as well and blunder their chances of winning the title.
But to everyone’s surprise, despite an injury-depleted squad, the greater side of Merseyside demonstrated a dominating performance to secure a 1-0 victory at Anfield, also making it their 100th Merseyside derby win.
The three points secured meant LFC regained their 12-point lead at the top of the PL points table.
The PL glory seems very solid at the moment, and Slot & Co. would be looking to solidify their status as the deserved contenders.
Now their next hurdle comes in the shape of ninth-placed Fulham, who will also be looking to climb up further in the points table.

Fulham vs. Liverpool predicted lineup, team news
Fulham
Manager Marco Silva might not have much of a hard time regarding squad selection.
Defender Kenny Tete, ex-Reds midfielder Harry Wilson and Arsenal loanee Reiss Nelson are all out due to injuries, with the Gunner returning to his parent club for recovery.
Although the Portuguese fielded a 3-4-2-1, which miserably failed against Arsenal, he will be returning to his proven 4-2-3-1 formation.
Fulham Predicted Lineup:
Leno; Castagne, Andersen, Bassey, Robinson; Berge, Lukic; Traore, Pereira, Iwobi; Muniz.
Liverpool
Arne Slot, on the other hand, might not have to face issues due to injuries as Joe Gomez and Trent Alexander-Arnold will also be out for a long time.
For Conor Bradley and Alisson Becker’s availability, however, the Dutchman provided a bit of hope, signalling they might return.
Regarding Bradley, Slot said,
“Conor, we have to wait and see if he is ready to be with the squad for Sunday.”
And talking about Alisson, Liverpool’s head coach stated,
“And with Ali, it is simple: it is a concussion and you have to tick all the boxes. The moment he does, he will be in goal. The moment he doesn’t, we are following the protocol.”
If Bradley is not available, then Curtis Jones will be an obvious choice at right-back for his redeeming performance in the derby. Jarell Quansah is also a viable option.
Liverpool Predicted Lineup:
Alisson; Jones, Konate, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Szoboszlai, Diaz; Jota.
Fulham vs. Liverpool prediction
The Reds will be jumping into this fixture after and they are going into this as the favourites to win it.
In the reverse fixture back in December, the Merseyside giants endured a 2-2 draw at Anfield where Andy Robertson was sent off.
The hosts have only won two of their last five PL matches, losing three of them. In contrast to that, LFC are undefeated for 27 PL games, and they look more than ready to extend the stat.
With all the stats and data available, it is safe to predict that Liverpool will win the match with a comfortable margin and dominate Fulham.
Prediction: Fulham 0 – 2 Liverpool.
