Liverpool FC vs Napoli: Player Ratings

Goal Keepers and Defenders

Alisson Becker (GK) – 6/10

He had a few easy saves but not much else in that area.

He attracted attackers with good long passes, which raises his evaluation beyond a 5.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (RB) – 6.5/10

Trent had the most challenging assignment of any Liverpool player. He had to mark Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, one of the best players in Europe.

He was early on beaten by the winger a few times. But once, after Salah put him in danger in his own area, he made a pretty nice recovery.

Ibrahima Konate (CB) – 6/10

initially appeared rusty, missing a few passes. But then got into the game. made a strong driving run across the middle of the field, which resulted in a hazardous free kick.

Virgil van Dijk (CB) – 7/10

engaged in a struggle of wills with Osimhen that resulted in an unusual reaction and a light jab at the forward as they crashed to the ground. Without a doubt, Van Dijk won in this particular conflict and did so for the match.

Kostas Tsimikas (LB) – 7/10

By his standards, he is relatively quiet. Nevertheless, a few crosses were nevertheless placed, albeit none were very risky.

Midfielders

Thiago (CM) – 8/10

showed his customary poise and technical proficiency. But he can still get into scraps for the ball, which he loves. Even though they occasionally result in some uncommonly sloppy play.

Fabinho (CM) – 510

As Klopp recently stated, the midfield isn’t affected by the formation changes. And the Brazilian’s performance wasn’t noticeably different, which is regrettably not a positive thing.

James Milner (CM) – 7/10

This season, the right centre of midfield has been reasonably practical, perhaps more so than others. But it shouldn’t be too tough to increase the bar there.

Curtis Jones (CM) – 7.5/10

The adaptable Scouser, who was used on the left of the front three, found himself in a few scoring situations. Moreover, given Firmino’s location, he probably didn’t anticipate such a superb cross. But he perhaps should have done better with the latter.

Forwards

Roberto Firmino (CF) – 6/10

It was a better flip than his initial try, in which he ballooned towards the Anfield road end to set up Jones for a header as the ball was about to leave the field of play.

Mohamed Salah (CF) – 7.5/10

When his new teammate Nunez entered the game late in the first half, the right back, who had been playing from the right in a 4-3-3, suddenly unleashed all of his offensive prowess. Meret spilled the Uruguayan’s header, and the Uruguayan turned the ball in. a poacher’s objective.

Substitutes

Harvey Elliot (CM) – 7.5/10

He maintained his excellent form from this season, participating in some fun linkup play.

Darwin Nunez (CF) – 8/10

The first goal was produced by an excellent header. Moreover, he appeared highly menacing, and his choices were sound.

Fabio Carvalho (CM) – N/A

Stefan Bajcetic (CM) – N/A

Good looking. Maybe try him out instead of laboring Fabinho? Derby is scheduled for next week to begin.

Calvin Ramsay (RB) – N/A

His debut had some nice touches, and he wasn’t intimidated. He appears to have gained a foot and a half since joining the team.
