Goal Keepers and Defenders
Alisson Becker (GK) – 6/10
He had a few easy saves but not much else in that area.
He attracted attackers with good long passes, which raises his evaluation beyond a 5.
Trent Alexander-Arnold (RB) – 6.5/10
Trent had the most challenging assignment of any Liverpool player. He had to mark Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, one of the best players in Europe.
He was early on beaten by the winger a few times. But once, after Salah put him in danger in his own area, he made a pretty nice recovery.
Ibrahima Konate (CB) – 6/10
initially appeared rusty, missing a few passes. But then got into the game. made a strong driving run across the middle of the field, which resulted in a hazardous free kick.
Virgil van Dijk (CB) – 7/10
engaged in a struggle of wills with Osimhen that resulted in an unusual reaction and a light jab at the forward as they crashed to the ground. Without a doubt, Van Dijk won in this particular conflict and did so for the match.
