LFC Interested In Teun Koopmeiners And Jeremie Frimpong

Liverpool have identified Teun Koopmeiners as a potential target for the midfield to replace Thiago Alcantara.

It is clear that Koopmeiners will make his exit from Atalanta this summer with Juventus the favourites for his signature.

Teun Koopmeiners had a great season with Atalanta helping them win the Europa League, he was one of the main players in that Atalanta team.

His performances against Liverpool in the Europa League was impressive catching the eye of several LFC fans.

Reports indicate that Atalanta have set a 60 million euro price tag on Koopmeiners, while Juventus have made it clear that they cannot go higher than 40 million euros for his signature.

As a result, reports have come out claiming Liverpool are in pole position to get Koopmeiners signature.

Meanwhile, reports have emerged from Germany that Liverpool are also interested in signing Dutch star Jeremie Frimpong.

Frimpong was a huge part of Leverkusen’s success last season helping them win the Bundesliga and DFB Pokal.

However Manchester United, Barcelona and Real Madrid have also expressed their interest to sign Frimpong this summer.

A double deal for the Dutch duo Koopmeiners and Frimpong would add some great quality to this LFC squad.

Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes on new signings in his press conference:

“If we can improve certain areas as we go, we will look to do that.

We will be opportunistic on the market. I’m in constant communication with Arne.”
