According to the reports the Reds have already contacted The Dutch international’s agency Wasserman, making their interest in a deal known.
Jurgen Klopp is allegedly a huge fan of Koopmeiners and the English giants are now pushing a move to try and snap him up.

A January deal is not expected but the Reds seem to position themselves for a summer transfer move. To bring the Dutch international to Anfield.
It’s added that Atalanta wouldn’t even sit at the table to negotiate for anything less than €40M, just 18 months since paying around €12M for the Dutchman.
Dutch influence in the Reds
This signing could potentially stop Liverpool’s worrying signs in the midfield.
Reports also suggest that the influence of assistant Pepijn Lijnders’s influence is also increasing in the transfers. He was responsible for Cody Gakpo’s move to Liverpool.
The influence of Dutch footballers is quite visible in the squad of LFC. Virgil van Dijk and Cody Gakpo being the prime examples.
Although Gakpo’s influence was remarkable in his debut match against Wolves in the FA Cup clash. He played for 84 minutes and dominated the left-hand side of the LFC’s frontline. His performance proved why he is regarded as one of the best young talents in Dutch football.
