Liverpool are looking to make a move for Juventus midfielder, Adrien Rabiot as they could see a major overhaul in the midfield for the next season.

According to reports, Naby Keita, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, and potentially James Milner are set to leave Anfield for free. Thus, Jurgen Klopp has had his eyes on a number of midfielders and Rabiot is said to be one of them.

Liverpool are also interested in signing Jude Bellingham and Mason Mount. While the Reds now look to add Rabiot, who will become a free agent this summer.

The France international has gone public and stated that he desires to play in the Champions League.

“I wanna play Champions League, it will be crucial point to make a decision on my future”

Juventus are currently 12 points behind 4th place Roma and have been on a pretty decent run.

Liverpool, on the other hand, are in contention for a Champions League spot with only 3 points off Spurs. They are on an excellent run, winning 4 of their last 5 league games.

However, the Turin side could potentially lose the midfielder for nothing as his contract is expiring soon. The midfielder also revealed that he has held no talks over renewing his contract at Turin.

Clubs apart from Liverpool interested in Rabiot

Moreover, according to Football Insider, Manchester United & City are in contention to sign the Juventus midfielder as well.

The midfielder has played a major part in France’s run to the final of the FIFA World Cup 2022. Meanwhile, the 27-year-old has scored 5 goals and provided 2 assists for Juventus this season in the Serie A.

Rabiot has a passing conversion of 85% in the 25 games that he has played. This is his 4th season at Juventus and he has won the league once, one Italian Cup and an Italian Super Cup. Also, the Frenchman has won the FIFA world cup with the French National Team in 2018.

It will be interesting to see if the midfielder decides to come to the Merseyside or he has different plans.
