Liverpool reach personal terms agreement with €80million rated Tchouameni

According to reports, Liverpool and Real Madrid have agreed on personal conditions. With the player apparently “allowing himself a few days” to decide.

Moreover, PSG is not in the running despite weeks of trying to sign him.

All that remains for Liverpool to sign Tchouameni is a fee agreement with Monaco. Though the transfer for the player is around €80 million (£63 million). Michael Edwards and Julian Ward, Liverpool’s sporting directors, will now negotiate a transfer fee with Monaco.

Although it is unusual, it is tough to believe Liverpool would be willing to pay £63 million for the French midfielder.

Even though Liverpool’s most expensive transfers include a £66 million price paid to AS Roma for Alisson Becker. And a £75 million fee paid to Southampton for Virgil van Dijk. The Reds agreeing to pay such a high price for Tchouameni depends on one thing. That is whether they believe he can have the same revolutionary effect on Liverpool’s future as Alisson and Van Dijk.

The French midfielder will be Liverpool’s second signing of the summer. With Liverpool already completing the signing of Fabio Carvalho.

The transfer window will officially open on 10th June. So, it will be really exciting to see what unfolds. As every team will be out there to fill the loopholes in their squad, the Reds will be looking to add more in-depth quality to especially compete for the Premier League title with Manchester City.
