Jurgen Klopp tells Liverpool to sign David Carmo who has impressed the Red’s boss after some players have decided to leave the club.

Some players in the squad have decided to leave the club and make a move this summer. Players who are leaving the squad include Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and the Reds super-sub Divock Origi.

Earlier, we have seen some young defenders play for Liverpool like Ozan Kabak and Ben Davies played for the Reds when Virgil Van Dijk and Joe Gomez were injured but they did not seem to impress Jurgen Klopp.

However, the Reds boss seems to have been impressed by the 22-year-old and has full intentions of signing the player this summer.

David Carmo for Liverpool

David Mota Veiga Teixeira Carmo is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Primeira Liga club Braga.

It was said that the Portuguese international will leave Braga and come to Anfield in January but due to some circumstances, it did not happen

We are always under pressure to sell but we have managed to keep our players as long as possible. In January, David Carmo had a foot and a half at Liverpool, but we ended up keeping him. He still has several suitors but we have managed to keep him for now.

said Braga president Antonio Salvador

Reports claim that the young defender has a release clause of 33.7 million pounds and has an interest in playing for any team across England.

Moreover, Konate has performed brilliantly for the Reds after scoring an opening goal against Benfica in UEFA Champions League and Virgil Van Dijk has always been the first choice for the Reds.

Therefore, If David Carmo is joining the Merseyside club this summer, Joe Gomez’s position will be in trouble as he has not performed well for the Reds as compared to the other defenders.

However, the main question is, will Liverpool pay such an amount for the 4th choice defender?
