Sadio Mane Liverpool FC journey comes to an end

With a lot of speculations coming week in and week out. It’s now confirmed that Sadio Mane will leave Liverpool FC.

Mane joined the Reds in 2016 in a deal worth 34 million. Although, this made him the most expensive African player at the time. By looking at the impact he had at the club, it looks like a bargain.

Mane played a total of 269 appearances for the Merseyside giants. Where he scored 120 goals making him Liverpool’s 2nd highest active goalscorer.

Moreover, he also won 6 trophies with the club. His trophy cabinet had every major trophy with Liverpool.

Mane was a fan favorite. And he also was respectful to the club till the end of the saga.

The Reason the 30-year-old wants to leave is he wants a new challenge.

Fabrizio Reported:

Sadio Mané will leave Liverpool this summer. He’s ready for a new experience after many special years with Reds. It will be confirmed to the club

What’s Next for Mane?

Mane is still one of the finest players in the world at the age of 30.

After an incredible 2021/22 season, he led Senegal to Africa Cup of Nations glory. Moreover, he also helped Liverpool win the Carabao Cup and FA Cup. Due to this, he is one of the favorites for the Ballon d’Or.

Mane has cemented himself as a Liverpool legend. Moreover, He will always be revered by the club’s supporters, no matter where he plays.

According to Fabrizio, Bayern highly rates the forward and wants to sign him.

He reported:

FC Bayern are strong contenders – but it’s still open and not completed as Sadio wanted to wait for the final.

With Lewandowski looking to force a move to FC Barcelona. The German champions want to reinforce the attack. And Mane looks like the best option to them. Mane is also open to the idea of joining the Munich side. But nothing is certain and we can’t really speculate.
