Liverpool have demanded 20 million pounds for the 21-year-old Neco Williams who played for Fulham last season on loan.

The Reds have signed many young players this summer and they also want Neco Williams to be on their side. However, the 21-year-old thinks that he might not get much game time as the position he plays in is secured by Trent Alexander-Arnold.

Neco Williams is a Welsh professional footballer who plays as a right-back for Liverpool and the Wales national team. Last season, Neco was loaned to Fulham and scored 2 goals after playing 14 matches and also assisted 2 goals in that period (stats via FBref.com).

Moreover, the Welsh national team will also want Neco to get more game time and stay fit so that he can perform for his nation in the upcoming FIFA World Cup 2022 which will be taking place in November. After signing Calvin Ramsey, it will be difficult for Neco to get more game time if he stays with Liverpool for this season.

Neco William’s price for Liverpool

According to Sky Sports Journalist, Rob Jones, Nottingham Forest are also interested in signing the 21-year-old for their upcoming season in the Premier League.

Forest are in the market for a right-back. Djed Spence had a successful loan spell there last season, but it looks unlikely that he’s going to return this season with Forest back in the Premier League.

The Journalist said

So Williams is one of the targets for Steve Cooper and Nottingham Forest. Liverpool looking for a package that we understand adds up to £20m for the Wales defender.

he added

Some people might think that 20 million pounds is a hefty fee for Neco Williams. However, the Merseyside club were asking for half the price six months ago for the 21-year-old.

Neco Williams’s performance for Fulham last season was outstanding and as his contribution in the game is more than before, and thus, his value has also increased.
