Even though the transfer window has closed, Liverpool can still make a couple of transfers in the next few days.

While the transfer window may have closed in England, it is still open in many other countries and in some, will continue to be open throughout the month.

This means that a few players could still leave Liverpool this month.

Liverpool to finish a couple of transfers in February ?

Takumi Minamino, Divock Origi and Loris Karius are among the favourites to leave the club soon. There was interest for the trio in the window, but Liverpool did not get the right offer.

The player most likely to leave Liverpool is Loris Karius. Karius’ contract expires on the 1st of July and the German has been made available on a free transfer.

If a transfer is agreed, Liverpool are even ready to terminate Karius’ contract five months in advance.

Bought to replace Simon Mignolet, Karius has failed to make an impact in Liverpool. The error-prone goalkeeper last played a competitive game for Liverpool 4 years ago.

A possible destination for Karius is Switzerland. FC Basel had held talks with the 28-year-old in summer, but couldn’t snap him up due to his wage demands.

However with the Swiss transfer window open till the 15th of February, we can still see the German leave Anfield.

Divock Origi, on the other hand, has multiple suitors in Turkey. These include Fenerbahce, Besiktas and Galatasaray. Turkey’s window is set to be open till the 8th of February and we can still see the Belgian leaving the club if a transfer is agreed between Liverpool and a club in Turkey.

Minamino also has potential suitors in Leeds and RB Salzburg, however, reports suggest both want to see their contracts at Liverpool out.

Klopp still considers them valuable backup options to his main forwards and they can still be in the fold for the remaining games. With Fabio Carvalho still on Liverpool’s radar, it is hard to see the duo getting a lot of game time next season if the youngster does arrive at Anfield.

This means Luis Diaz might not be the only transfer Liverpool successfully made this window.
