After a long chase, Liverpool are now poised to sign the £10m ace right-back Calvin Ramsay as West Ham United misses out on the opportunity.

As the international break is now over, Liverpool will now focus on the transfer market which is already looking astonishing. The Reds managed to sign the Urugyuan striker Darwin Nunez who will be a key player for the club in the upcoming season and for the future. The Ex-Benfica forward cost the Reds club-record signing fees of around €100 million.

Moreover, Darwin Nunez will be filling the boots of Sadio Mane who is all set to leave the Merseyside club this summer. However, the future of the Senegalese international is not confirmed but he is most likely to join Bayern Munich.

Except for Darwin Nunez, Jurgen Klopp is also looking forward to signing some more youngsters who can be an option if there is any injury. Last season we saw Konstantinos Tsimikas perform tremendously for the Reds and conclude the season with a winning penalty. Thus, Liverpool have had memories of injury crises and are thus aware of such situations. Hence, the boss is looking to keep enough backup options to strengthen his backline.

Liverpool about to announce the signing of the £10m ace player

According to The Scottish Sun, Aberdeen wanted 10 million pounds for Calvin Ramsey which have been presumably met by Liverpool. Also according to the report, the West Ham boss fancied bringing the 18-year-old to the London Stadium.

Moreover, the trusted journalist Fabrizio Romano also shared some light regarding the future of the teenager. He shared information on his Twitter account which mentioned that the 18-year-old will sign a contract for 5 years with Liverpool FC.

Furthermore, Calvin Ramsey will also be very helpful as the Reds have no one to depend on if Trent Alexander-Arnold is not there. It will also help Arnold if he needs rest for some time.

After losing Calvin Ramsey, West Ham are now keen to sign the young prodigy Destiny Udogie who plays as a left-back for Udinese in the Serie A.
