Former Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel has been appointed for the position of next England manager as English FA ends their hunt.
The English national team has seen decent success under the management of interim manager Lee Carsley.
Out of the four games they have played so far, the Englishmen have won three games, only losing one.
The former England U-21 manager was appointed after Gareth Southgate resigned from his duty of the Three Lions, losing the Euro 2024 final to Spain.
However, Carsley definitely was not the permanent replacement for the former England international.
The English FA has been keeping tabs on a few managers as the potential full-time Three Lions manager with the names of Pep Guardiola and Graham Potter surfacing.
But the English fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief as their future is in safer hands.

What Thomas Tuchel said on becoming the next England manager
Guardiola’s contract at Etihad runs out at the end of this season and whether his stay at the Manchester side will be extended has not been confirmed yet.
Even though the FA made “informal contact” with Guardiola towards the start of the season about taking the England manager job, the monitoring fell through due to unexplained reasons.
Thomas Tuchel, the former Chelsea manager who led the London side to win the UEFA Champions League in 2021, has been appointed the manager of English national men’s football team.
Right after the confirmation, the German tactician said,
“I am very proud to have been given the honour of leading the England team.
I have long felt a personal connection to the game in this country, and it has given me some incredible moments already.
To have the chance to represent England is a huge privilege, and the opportunity to work with this special and talented group of players is very exciting.”
Speaking about his ambitions regarding this job, Tuchel said,
“…I want to put the second star on this shirt. We will work hard for the biggest target in football, making our dream come true at the World Cup 2026.”
Addressing the negative talk about his nationality and how it might affect England’s performances, the German said,
“I just have a German passport… but all of these supporters can feel my passion for the English Premier League, how I love to work here, how I love to live here… hopefully I can convince them I am proud to be an England manager.”
Reacting to the news of the latest appointment, England skipper Harry Kane said,
“I’m looking forward to work under Thomas Tuchel again, can’t wait!”
Tuchel will be starting his work in 2025.
