Highly rated 23-year-old fullback Jeremie Frimpong has given his approval to join Liverpool according to several reports.
One of the best fullbacks right now, Frimpong helped Bayer Leverkusen to win the Bundesliga as invincibles.
Frimpong could come in next season to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold if he leaves. Liverpool are yet to offer Trent a new contract. The 26-year-old is high on the Real Madrid list.

Jeremie Frimpong set to join Liverpool?
Trent is free to negotiate a pre-contract with clubs from January, the Reds should give him a new contract before that. Trent, Van Dijk, and Salah are not the only ones out of contract next season.
There are several reports that if Trent leaves next season Jeremie Frimpong will be signed to replace him.
According to Sacha Tavolieri of Sky Sports: “For several weeks, regular contacts have been taking place with the entourage of the Amsterdam native (Jeremie Frimpong), and reliable sources indicate that the interested party has already given his approval to join Liverpool”

The Reds are yet to make an offer for the Dutchman, but Frimpong should be available for around sixty million euros.
If Trent leaves at the end of the season, Jeremie Frimpong is one of the best candidates to replace him at Liverpool.
But Liverpool should try an keep three of their star players by giving them a new contract. Salah, Van Dijk, and Trent are still crucial for the club and losing them on a free would be a huge loss.
