The former LFC Star has expressed this opinion after he saw Trent playing. However, this opinion comes at an interesting time, considering Alexander-Arnold’s recent disgruntled reaction over a sub.
Graeme Souness thinks Trent should join Real Madrid
In a recent match, Alexander-Arnold has shared his frustration over the Dutchman’s decision. Considering the Liverpool Defender, the LFC Legend thinks that he should have a bigger future at the Spanish Capital.
While talking to William Hill in the Three Up Front podcast, Graeme Souness told Trent is fit for Real Madrid.
“Trent Alexander-Arnold is tailor-made for Real Madrid in terms of the way he plays, and he’s got an unbelievable delivery – not to mention he’s good friends with Jude Bellingham. He could end up at Madrid and that message may already have been relayed to Liverpool.”
The English International is all set to become a free agent. Moreover, Graeme Souness thinks that LFC knows Trent is gonna go, so he should choose Real Madrid. Carvajal and Vazquez, two senior Madrid aces are approaching the end of their contract soon.
“They’d still want to keep him on side for the rest of the season and he’ll go for free at the end of it. The message that he’s made up his mind may already have been relayed to the higher-ups at the club. He’s running his contract down. If you’re going to leave Liverpool, where else other than Real Madrid can you really go to better yourself?”
