He had his chance to join LFC but somehow, he blew it at the beginning of his career. Since then, he has joined and left a handful of clubs, hence leaving an inconsistent trail.
“My biggest mistake, which I bitterly regret, was turning down another mega offer from Liverpool before I signed the long contract with Schalke, which was a matter close to my heart.”
