Liverpool fans were left worried after Trent Alexander-Arnold left the pitch with an injury in the 25th minute against Aston Villa on Saturday.
Trent was unable to continue due to a hamstring issue, however, the scans have confirmed the good news. There is no doubt that Trent will pull out of the England squad for their games against Greece and Ireland.
Trent Alexander-Arnold injury update
Paul Joyce of The Times has revealed that Trent is set to be sidelined for a couple of weeks with a hamstring injury. Trent avoided more serious damage by coming off early against Aston Villa. Not ruled out of Southampton on Nov 24 ahead of Real Madrid [Nov 27] and Man City [Dec 1] games.
The Reds have an important fixture coming up after the break against Manchester City and Real Madrid. There are also other reports that state that Trent Alexander-Arnold will miss two games due to injury but will be available for the clash against Man City.
There is no need to rush Trent back as Liverpool have a quality backup in Conor Bradley. Joe Gomez can also play at right-back as he was used there a lot last season.
As 16 players leave for international duty, fans hope there will not be any injury scares for our players. Liverpool will need their whole squad back as the fixture list is quite intense.
Not only Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson, Diogo Jota, Federico Chiesa, and Harvey Elliot are all set to return after the break.
