Ryan Gravenberch‘s departure from Bayern Munich and joining Liverpool is ‘almost inevitable’ as per reports. The Dutchman joined the Bavarians last summer.

Ryan Gravenberch to leave Bayern and join Liverpool?

Liverpool have already set their sight on Dutch midfielder Gravenberch to bolster their midfield. The Dutchman joined the German side last summer and did not have a great season for Bayern, who won the league in the last game of the season.

The 21-year-old has appeared in 24 matches in Bundesliga this season for the Bavarians and started only 3 games. He had almost little to no input in the dramatic league win for the German team.

Bayern also had a difficult season. They won the league title in the last match in the most dramatic way possible.

Thomas Tuchel replaced Julian Nagelsmann mid-season. Oliver Kahn and Hasan Salihamidzic also got sacked on the last day of the season soon after the club won the league title.

Rumours of Gravenberch joining Liverpool are circling around for a few months now. Klopp is trying to strengthen the midfield players who left the club this season. Already the talks of signing Alexis Mac Allister, Mason Mount, Manu Kone, and Khephren Thuram are going on.

According to Sport1, there is a high chance that the young midfielder is going to leave the German club just after signing a contract with them after one year. His future is uncertain now as he would be deemed as the ‘Salihamidzic signing’.

So Tuchel should immediately show that there is a clear plan and future for the Dutchman. The former Chelsea manager has to decide whether he is in the plan for a possible team rebuild. Otherwise, Ryan will possibly move to EPL for the eagerly waiting Liverpool.

The 21-year-old’s value is €35M according to Tramsfermarkt. It would be interesting to see how things will progress from here on.
