Arne Slot is still very quiet about signing new players in this winter transfer market with help of Richard Hughes. The last transfer window was also very quiet for the Reds as Arne Slot hasn’t spent that much money on the transfer window rather than focusing on the existing players.
The winter transfer window is about to close within two days and Liverpool aren’t signed a single player.
Well, this scenario could change in the upcoming days as Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes was spotted in Vitality Stadium this weekend during the Bournemouth game.
Liverpool manager Arne Slot already cleared that he is very happy with the current team. He recently said,
“I know people sometimes question this because they haven’t seen us doing a lot in the transfer market in the summer and now in the winter as well. There’s a reason for that – because we’re happy with the squad.”
This confidence from the Dutch boss could be seen in the Premier League table also. The Reds are at the top of the table in the Premier League with 56 points.
Liverpool are nine points clear from the second place Arsenal. In the Champions League also, Liverpool finished top of the table after the initial round.
The Reds won seven matches out of the eight matches in the Champions League. So, definitely, the current team is doing pretty good for Arne Slot.

However, the presence of Liverpool sporting director Richard Hughes in the Vitality stadium raises some questions about the future transfers for the Merseysiders.
Bournemouth are doing also well in the Premier League. The Cherries are in the 7th in the league thanks to some brilliant talents of the squad.
Talents like Milos Kerkez, Antoine Semenyo, and Dean Huijsen already attracted big clubs. So, there could be a chance that Richard Hughes might love to check this talent on his own.
There is very little chance that Liverpool are going to sign any new players in this winter transfer window.
The winter transfer window is about to end very soon. And Arne Slot is more focused on the existing squad now.
However, Richard Highes’ presence in the Bournemouth game gave a clear hint about the interest from Liverpool for the new signings.
