Liverpool looking to sign Khephren Thuram despite interest from other clubs

With Liverpool out of the race for Jude Bellingham, the club needs to identify alternative targets to pursue in the upcoming transfer window.

Despite the fact that most of the players that have been talked about are central midfielders, the decline in Fabinho’s performances this season has made it necessary to sign a new defensive midfielder. With a height of 6ft4 inches, Thuram would add a physical presence to the middle of the park at Anfield.

After impressing with Nice in Ligue 1 this season, The youngster was rightfully awarded his first cap for the French national team.

Thuram has played 41 times in all competitions for Nice so far this season. He has contributed eight assists and scored two goals in the process.

Operating either as a defensive midfielder or a central midfielder, he could work his way into Jurgen Klopp’s plans.

Numerous targets are on the watch for Liverpool in order to revitalize their midfield. Thuram is one of those who might join the team for the upcoming season and beyond.

Thuram would not only be a more cost-effective option when compared to other players in the Premier League who are of a similar age, but he would also be someone who has the potential to rise to the top.
